ADVENTURES

  • Originally from Ashland, Oregon, but having lived most of her life in Kansas, she attended Junior High and High School just south of Lawrence, Kansas, in Baldwin City.

  • Studied Fine Arts at the University of Kansas before completing the Culinary Arts Program at Johnson County Community College.

  • Throughout culinary school, worked as an apprentice at The Capital Grille on the Country Club Plaza.

  • Promoted to Sous Chef in 2011, spending the majority of the career working for Darden Restaurants' premiere fine dining concepts.

  • Supported five new restaurant openings and became the Executive Chef of The Capital Grille Minneapolis in 2012.

  • Returned to Kansas City in 2016 to open Eddie V’s Restaurant.

  • Continued opening restaurants while working for Cameron Mitchell Restaurants.

  • Supported the opening of Prime Social Rooftop in October 2021 and Ocean Prime Restaurant in February of 2022.

  • I admire my mother the most. She was a young single mother that taught me work ethic, to be tenacious and caring for others.

  • I love to create art using different kinds of mixed media.

  • I wanted to be an actress or a fashion designer.

  • I would probably have to say Fresh seafood - CRAB CAKES!!!

  • I love to cook seasonally, and allow fresh seasonal ingredients to inspire me. I also gain inspiration from who I am cooking for and the occasion.
