Hot Food GRAB AND GO PROGRAM
The main station is the heart of the Canteen Hot Food Program
The station includes a hot countertop merchandiser, multiple payment stations, digital signage, and a hot hold cabinet.
Attended by knowledgeable staff, they address menu inquiries, gather feedback, and aid in payment processing.
Though self-serve, the attendant enhances the experience for associates with personalization.
The station has a 5 by 12 foot footprint.
This solution is optimal for high-traffic venues, accommodating up to 300 meals with the option to scale up with additional equipment for larger capacities.

Our hot food program offers a diverse range of menu options, with vendors able to provide global cuisine items.
We offer fresh cold food options, perfect for any occasion and catering to all tastes and dietary needs.
The number of choices is flexible and can be negotiated based on client preferences.
Price points are customizable and can be discussed with each client to fit their budget.
Canteen can offer a static menu for clients to choose from, or vendors can submit menu items based on individual client needs, providing flexibility and customization.
Our vendors are available as a one-stop shop for all food options, whether it’s providing a high-end lunch for an executive board meeting or a simple meal for an employee appreciation event.
Canteen offers a QR code for scanning, directing users to a menu accessible round-the-clock. This feature aids in meal preparation and strategic meal planning.
Static Menu
Canteen offers a standardized recipe/static menu to each vendor based on client need.
This ensures that every recipe has full FDA compliant nutrition information for our FDA compliant labels, guaranteeing transparency and accuracy.

CONNECT & PAY
The Connect & Pay App is a comprehensive system for purchases, promotions, messaging, account maintenance, tracking and support of your Connect & Pay account. The App is free to download and use, and is the heart of our contemporary food service platform.

Preserving Freshness and flavor
Crisp Food Technologies® Containers use a unique design to maintain product temperature and preserve texture by relieving moisture.
Through-the-closure ventilation and raised airflow channels in the base ensure fried foods stay hot and crispy.
Independent tests confirm superior performance in preserving fried food quality during 30-minute home delivery.
These containers are microwave-safe, dishwasher-safe, reusable, and recyclable, with an anti-fog lid for appealing presentation.

SALES REPORTING
The main station is the heart of the Canteen Hot Food Program
Detailed reports are available, covering everything form sales time detail, daily sales summary, item analysis, etc.
This access allows vendors and clients to track and analyze sales performance, helping to make informed decisions and drive business growth.

PICO HOT MERCHANDISER
The PICO Hot merchandiser is a stand alone hot merchandiser, offering an all-in-one solution for hot food service.
Designed for locations with a limited footprint, this solution provides convenience and efficiency.
Vendors drop off the hot food, load the merchandiser, and leave.
Food safety SOPs are followed, as the unit will shut down and prevent access after a set amount of time to ensure food quality and safety.
This prevents employees from purchasing food that has been hot-held for an extended period, maintaining freshness and quality.

Satellite Breakrooms &
SMALL FOOTPRINT AREAS
Canteen offers a small footprint service solution that includes a small tabletop hot merchandiser, payment solution, digital signage, and table.
After the main meal period , the attendant revisits each satellite merchandiser location, removes any leftover meals, and cleans and sanitizes each location.
The setup allows the attendant to service the main station and also drop food at the unmanned small footprint merchandisers throughout the facility.
This solution is recommended for locations that have multiple areas requiring hot food service, typically with a manned full footprint station elsewhere on campus.
This solution provides convenience and flexibility for locations with limited space, ensuring that all areas are catered to efficiently and effectively.

Standard Operating Procedure for FOOD SAFETY
Our team audits these logs regularly to ensure food safety standards are being met.
Vendors are required to upload their daily temperature logs at least weekly.
For this program, Canteen utilizes time as control as its food safety SOP.
Beginning this year, Canteen will also begin a third party audit with Steritech.
This audit will occur twice a year for each vendor, ensuring compliance with both state-level food safety requirements and Canteen’s food safety standards.
To monitor food safety practices, we connect all vendors to a site-specific Teams page.
